Particle Track Filters

Filters select tracks to plot according to a number of criteria, some or all of which must be met. The left column of the Filters Dialog contains a number of conditions (not all are shown here), each of which is preceded by a Check Box. The box is checked when the corresponding filter is in effect. It must be checked before a value can be entered.

The Have Exactly N Interactions and Have At Least N Interactions filters cannot be specified simultaneously.

Created by
Selects branches created in the bank event type chosen in the popup menu.

Terminated by
Selects branches terminated by events chosen from the popup menu.

The number of filter conditions that must be Satisfy'd for a track to be plotted can be Any (the default), All, or the number entered in the This Many: text field.

If a number appears in the Plot Only FirstInteractions text field, only the first so many interactions (and the lines connecting them) are shown, rather than the entire track.

The filters are applied to entire Histories or Branches of a history according to the selection in the Apply To box. The Branches option will only work when the track data is held in memory (TRACK MEMORY ON).

Apply
Puts chosen Filters in effect and dismisses the Dialog.

Cancel
Does not affect the Filters and dismisses the Dialog.
