On-Line Track Tutorial Example

We use a problem devised by George Eccleston and Phil Rinard of what was LANL group Q-1 a few reorganizations ago. A point neutron source emits in a cone towards a detector. Three blocks sit on a long wooden board (not shown). Two lead blocks are used, one behind the point source and a second between the source and the detector. The detector consists of a polystyrene block containing two helium tubes.

The particle tracks for the first 100 histories will be drawn with the color of the particle track being a function of the neutron energy. Several neutron energy bins will be used with the lowest energy bin colored red.

The tutorial is run by READing (Read Sabrina under the Files menu) trackex.sab in the tracks subdirectory of the examples directory. This script makes use of Wait commands to provide the user with time to read explanatory comments in the file. (The List Files mode should be enabled.)
