Solid Body Classes

ARB- Arbitrary Polyhedron. There can be 4, 5, or 6 faces.

BOX-Box. The edges are mutually perpendicular at each corner. The faces are not necessarily aligned with the Cartesian directions.

ELL-Ellipsoid. The length and orientation of the 3 mutually orthogonal principal axes are arbitrary.

RCC-Right Circular Cylinder. The circular end faces are perpendicular to the axis of symmetry.

RPP-Rectangular Parallelepiped. All sides are each parallel to one of the Cartesian axes, and opposite faces are equal.

SPH-Sphere.

TRC-Truncated Right Angle Cone. The circular end faces are perpendicular to the axis of symmetry.

TABCL-Tabular Cylinder or Tabular Extrusion. The cylinder-like face is a closed curve consisting of straight line segments and circular arcs.

TABSF-Tabular Surface of Revolution. Each point is described by its distances along and perpendicular to the axis of symmetry.

WED-Right Angle Wedge. The edges are mutually orthogonal at 2 of the corners.
