MCNP Surface Geometry Mode

Reading in an MCNP input file with Read MCNP puts Sabrina into the MCNP surface mode. In this mode, Sabrina expects to have cells defined in terms of surfaces, rather than zones defined in terms of bodies. Bodies may be defined, but they can only be used as cutter bodies. The cells defined in the MCNP cell block are recognized as Sabrina cells. T he QCELL command may be used to modify the MCNP cells or to add new ones. The DUMP command will not work in MCNP mode. Only a subset of MCNP surfaces can be properly drawn with DRAW or RDRAW. In general, ray tracing with COLOR or ETCH is most useful for viewing MCNP geometries. There is no explicit command for entering surface mode; it is entered when MCNP surface input is given to Sabrina with either with the SURFA commands or Read MCNP. The surface mode stays in effect until a Reset or the session is terminated.
