GIf <file.gif>

Write a Graphics Interchange Format (GIF) file to file.gif. The file contains the current image in the Graphics Window including all subwindows.

The GIF file is not interlaced, and there is no provision for choosing a transparent background color.

GIF creation is known to work on True Color 24-plane and 8-plane pseudocolor displays; it has not been tested on other display types.
