Text Windows
There are four types of text windows that display information. For each, the font, font color, and background color can be set with the Window Font and Window Background Color items in the View menu when the text window is active. The font color does not apply to heading and other lines the program writes in red, green, or blue. Because Moritz uses these colors for headings, it is unwise to set the window background to red, green, or blue. If the font color (set on the Component Colors property page as well as on the font selection box) does not match one of these colors, the box will display black for the color. If the color selection is black when the font is selected, the font color is not changed. Otherwise, the specified color is used.
Except for the information window, the contents of a text window can be printed by selecting the Print toolbar buttonor the Print item in the File menu when the window is active. Two checkboxes on the Options property page control whether colored text is printed as is or in black. Checking Black Text on b/w Printer prints colored text as black on monochrome printers. Checking Black Text All Printers prints colored text as black regardless of the printer’s color capability.
