Rotation Center
The 3D rotation center-the point about which the model rotates-is initially set to the center of the 3D scale box. If the bounding box is infinite in any direction, the center is set to the origin (0, 0, 0). The 3D Position property page contains fields where the rotation center may be changed by typing in new values. The rotation center can be set interactively by clicking and dragging in one of the 2D cuts.
The action is initiated by choosing Select 3D Rotation Center in the Graphics menu or one of the context menus. While the left mouse button is depressed, the 2D cursor changes to a set of concentric circles. The 3D image moves as the rotation center is dragged.
