Printing
The 2D plots can be printed by one of two methods. In the draw method, the graphics operations are repeated and sent to the printer rather than to the screen. The bitmap method sends the backup bitmap of the plot to the printer. The latter method is in effect if Print as Bitmap is checked on the 2D Options property page.
The draw method results in higher resolution plots. Unfortunately, many plots are incomplete---some of the plot elements are missing. The positions of some text, such as lattice element labels, are not the same as on the screen. We hope to fix these shortcomings in future versions.
The bitmap method reproduces exactly what is on the screen, but the print's resolution is limited by the number of pixels in the 2D plot. Increasing the window size will reduce the jagged appearance of curved lines.
