Information Window
The information window contains four tabs. The horizontal arrows at the upper right move hidden tabs into view.
The Position tab gives the coordinates of the cursor when it is over a 2D window. The coordinates-X, Y, and Z-are reported in the current unit. The last 2 lines show the position in pixels from the upper left corner of the 2D window. When scrolling a 2D window with the scroll bar, the tab shows the coordinates at the center of the window [and (0,0) for the pixel values].
- The Hints tab shows what actions are possible and/or expected according to the current mode and active window of the program.
- The Surface tab shows some properties of a surface that is being created interactively or of a picked surface.
- The Cell tab shows the material and importance that will be assigned to a cell during cell creation mode in the material or importance assignment mode and some properties of a picked cell.
- The Axis tab shows the coordinates at the center of the 3D axis.
