Placing the Color Legend in Plots
Both the 2D and 3D context menus contain a Paste Color Legend item that is active if the Color Legend window is present. After selecting the item, left-clicking in the respective window permits positioning a copy of the Color Legend window as long as the left button is held down. Releasing the button sets the final position. If a legend is present in a plot window, the context menu item reads Remove Color Legend. Once a position has been set, it can only be changed by removing and re-pasting the legend.
Changes made to the legend bar in the Color Legend window, including those caused by a resizing of the window, are immediately reflected in the copies. Portions of the geometry plots that are exposed by resizing the window are not automatically restored; the user must explicitly request a redraw of the affected window(s).
