Body Plotting

Bodies can be shown in both the 2D and 3D plots. Whether to do so is set by the Draw Bodies in 2D and Draw Bodies in 3D items in the Options submenu of the Bodies menu and checkboxes on the Body Draw Style property page. Both the menu and dialog contain a Draw Body Surfaces item; when checked, the complete surfaces forming the body are drawn in 2D. The dialog contains items for setting the 2D line style and width, the 3D style (solid or wireframe), and the line thickness for the 3D wireframe mode.

The body colors are assigned from the body cycle list, separate from the list used for surfaces. The surfaces that bound the body have the same color as the body. If Single Color is checked on the Body Draw Style property page, all bodies are drawn in the same color that is set with the All Bodies choice on the Component Colors property page.

Surfaces or bodies can be shown or hidden by type in 2D and 3D using the Object Visibility property page.
