
3D Graphics Performance is Poor
The performance of the 3D graphics display for interactive rotation, panning, and zooming is adequate until the number of polygons and other 3D primitives exceeds some threshold value. That value depends on the capabilities of the computer's video hardware and, secondarily, the CPU. If large lattices are involved, see the previous section. If there are many objects with curved surfaces, reducing the tessellation parameters may help (see the 3D Style property page).
